Got a RedEye and Bagel, it was exactly what you would expect out of a Red Eye and Bagel. Barista was professional, efficient and enjoyed talking to customers who were open to engagement.

Love, love this place. My go to place in Brookings. Good environment, and decent coffee. Love this place so much that I wanna buy this place someday! The current owners are doing a great job. One thing they can improve on is by buying some traps/electric zappers to kill the insects during summer days. Other than that, this place is great!

If you’re looking for awesome coffee served by kind people with a chill acoustic background, this is the place to go. There’s plenty of tables to study at with so many outlets I can have my entire Apple ecosystem plugged in and still have room for more. They are prompt with their service and support so many local organizations. Very clean but still has the vibe of a bit of a worn down comfort place. 10/10 this has been my go-to coffee shop for my last 4 years of college. Also they have specials each day so today I got a large for the price of a medium.

Open on New Years Day we had great service and played Scrabble for 2 hours.

An iconic meeting spot for the youth of Brookings. The coffee is on par with basically every other coffee place I've been to. The layout of the building is cool since there is a 'back room' which sometimes has jazz events and artists perform. The ukulele club of Brookings (at least currently) meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm there to play some songs and sing (totally subject to change. It's just this way currently). The layout is such that it encourages you to talk to the baristas kind of. Coincidentally, I know most of the staff, and I frequently have a good chat. The baristas seem cooler here than average for a coffee place.

Cottonwood's sandwiches are always fresh, the chips are crisp, and it's all served with a mellow, work-friendly atmosphere. Of course, their coffee is the star of the show: their roasts are among my favorite in the area. Absolutely worth a stop.

I absolutely love Cottonwood. Great vibes, great people, great coffee. Definitely go here! I’m just posting here to ask the owners: what happened to the orange chairs? Glancing in the window and seeing such comfy chairs is half the reason I’d convince myself I needed a coffee on any random morning. In this moment I’m sitting in the new grey armless chairs and my arms and booty are just so much sadder

Cozy coffee shop, fresh bakery items soup and salads! Will definitely be back!
